Decided to share the first 2 chapters together, although I would not recommend trying to record a curmudgeon voice late at night while experiencing allergies. John is going to need friends or at least an ally to survive sleeping life...enter Karl, a favorite among beta-readers. He's certainly a favorite of mine. Enjoy, comment.
